3 Bible Tips: Your Attention, Please!
What are some of the things the Bible tells us to pay attention to?
1. Pay attention to God and His commands and warnings.
"'And I will not make the feet of Israel wander anymore from the land which I gave their fathers—only if they are careful to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that My servant Moses commanded them.’ But they paid no attention, and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than the nations whom the Lord had destroyed before the children of Israel" (2 Kings 21:8-9, emphasis added throughout).
2. Pay attention to biblical knowledge, understanding wisdom and discretion.
"My son, pay attention to my wisdom; lend your ear to my understanding, that you may preserve discretion, and your lips may keep knowledge" (Proverbs 5:1-2).
3. Ministers and Church members should focus on the Word of God, as it encourages us to change and grow and learn.
"Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine" (1 Timothy 4:13).
