3 Bible Tips for Godly Followers
1. Follow as the leader follows Jesus Christ.
The apostle Paul wrote, "Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ" (1 Corinthians 11:1).
2. Pray that church leaders may be effective and protected.
"Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you, and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith" (2 Thessalonians 3:1-2).
3. Make the leader's job a joy, not grief.
"Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you" (Hebrews 13:17).
