3 Bible Tips: Assembly Required
1. God appointed the Sabbath and His festivals as sacred assemblies.
"Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: 'The feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations [meetings], these are My feasts'" (Leviticus 23:2).
2. It's important for Christians to assemble together to encourage each other.
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:25).
3. From the beginning, the New Testament Church set an example of assembling for instruction and fellowship.
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers" (Acts 2:42).
