3 Bible Tips: Making Friends
1. Serve and get to know many people. You will add to your friends!
"Then He also said to him who invited Him, 'When you give a dinner or a supper, do not ask your friends, your brothers, your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest they also invite you back, and you be repaid. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind'" (Luke 14:12-13).
2. Be kind to everyone, but choose your close friends carefully to avoid being pulled astray.
"The righteous should choose his friends carefully, for the way of the wicked leads them astray" (Proverbs 12:26).
3. Be generous and sacrifice for your friends.
"'Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends'" (John 15:13; see also Luke 16:9).
