3 Bible Tips: Christian Transformation
1. The Christian transformation, also called conversion, means renewing
our minds to reflect the will of God.
"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing
of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and
perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2).
2. This transformation process requires both putting off the bad and
putting on the good.
"That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which
grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the
spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created
according to God, in righteousness and true holiness" (Ephesians 4:22-24).
3. In the ultimate transformation, Christ's followers will be like Him!
"Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed
what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like
Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in
Him purifies himself, just as He is pure" (1 John 3:2-3).
