3 Bible Tips: Being a Good Friend
1. Pray for your friends (and everyone).
"And the Lord restored Job's losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before" (Job 42:10; see also 1 Timothy 2:1).
2. Don't say or do things that will harm your friends or their other friendships (gossip, slander, accentuating others' faults, etc.)
"A perverse man sows strife, and a whisperer separates the best of friends" (Proverbs 16:28).
3. Be an all-weather friend (not a fair-weather friend).
"A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity" (Proverbs 17:17).
