3 Bible Tips: How Do We Seek God's Grace?
What does the Bible say about whom God gives His free gift of grace to?
1. God gives grace to the humble.
"Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble'" (1 Peter 5:5).
2. God gives His gracious forgiveness and His Holy Spirit to those believers who repent of breaking God's laws and are baptized.
"Then Peter said to them, 'Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit'" (Acts 2:38).
3. God gives grace to those who pray regularly and fervently about all their needs, including forgiveness and grace.
"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16).
