3 Bible Tips for Summer Vacation
1. Have lasting fun! (Fun you can tell God about...)
"Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth; walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes; but know that for all these God will bring you into judgment. Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, and put away evil from your flesh, for childhood and youth are vanity [fleeting]" (Ecclesiastes 11:9-12:1).
Remember, there are no secrets: God knows what you did last summer (Ecclesiastes 12:14).
2. Work hard this summer to prepare for your future (don't snore it away!).
"He who gathers in summer is a wise son; he who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame" (Proverbs 10:5).
3. Follow Christ's example.
"And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men" (Luke 2:52).
