3 Bible Tips: King of Kings
1. A human emperor could be called a king of kings.
"You, O king [Nebuchadnezzar], are a king of kings. For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, strength, and glory; and wherever the children of men dwell, or the beasts of the field and the birds of the heaven, He has given them into your hand, and has made you ruler over them all—you are this head of gold" (Daniel 2:37-38).
2. God is the ultimate King of kings.
"I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing, which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords" (1 Timothy 6:13-15).
3. When Jesus Christ returns as King of kings, we can serve with Him if we are called, chosen and faithful.
"These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful" (Revelation 17:14; see also Revelation 19:16).
