3 Bible Tips: Hope in a Hopeless World
1. God strengthens and encourages those who have hope in Him.
"Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord" (Psalm 31:24).
2. God's hope—developed through trials—will not disappoint!
"And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us" (Romans 5:3-5, New Revised Standard Version).
3. In a world without hope, we can have ultimate hope in the resurrection.
"But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus" (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14).
