3 Bible Tips: The Narrow Gate
Last time we looked at "The Broad Way." This time let's look at what Jesus Christ called the narrow gate.
1. The narrow gate of God's way of life is hard and not popular.
"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it" (Matthew 7:13-14).
2. Jesus Christ is the door or gate we must enter, and though His way is hard, He is always there to help us and it is the way to abundant life.
"I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:9-10).
3. God makes the impossible possible.
"'It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.' And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, 'Who then can be saved?' But Jesus looked at them and said, 'With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible'" (Mark 10:25-27).
